It’s simple, really. Krom is looking for the funniest, wittiest, smartest, freshest, the get-off-the-internet-because-this-comment-made-me-shard-my-pants, style of comments. If it’s something that moves me or makes me think, you’ll get blog points.
Here’s the breakdown:
5 blog points: damn funny, insightful, makes me go hmmm
10 blog points: OMFG funny. Almost too much to read it, but just can’t turn away
15 blog points: the mutherload. This is where I have to get off my ass and write the comment down in my journal, type of post. Well done.
What are the points for?
So glad you asked. The points will be kept on the infamous BLOG POINTS tally screen. At the end of everyday, I’ll tally up the points from that day’s comments, and I’ll add them to the Blog Points tally screen. These are a list of what you can get for the points:
500 points: a link of your site will be added on our site
1000 points: an entire post will be created to talk about you, your site, and your best comments
5000 points: Your blog will be featured on the Super Pal best pal feature (coming soon)
10,000 points: honorary Super Pal member with all its rights and priveledges bestowed upon you
20,000 points: You can be a honorary contributor to this blog. Well done, good sir.
30,000 points: Official Gear of the League of Super Pals: power braclet, power ring, Super Pal hat, League of Super Pals sweatshirt armor, and a Certificate of Honorary Membership into the League of Super Pals.

150 points: added for telling your friends and helping them visit our site: www.tellmeaboutit.wordpress.com (see details at the end of this post).
200 points: for putting a www.tellmeaboutit.wordpress.com link on your own site
Can I get more points for writing stories and submitting them to your site?
Yes, yes you can. You also have the option of writing a post for this site. If you’re consistantly making excellent comments, and you’re above 500 points, you can submit entire posts to us and if they’re good enough, we’ll put them on the front page . Articles get triple the Blog Points, so you can move up the points quite fast with this little feature.
Who decides which posts or comments get points.
Krom decides! Krom says which comments are deserving of Blog Points. He has an internal mechanism designed from the Great Gods of Before Times that help him decide, so rest assured, your comments and post will be judged correctly.

Update:
150 blog points wil automatically be added to those that bring other friends to join us on this website. Tell your pals about www.tellmeaboutit.worpress.com and help them visit this site, and then leave Krom a note letting him know the name of the friend you brought along and he’ll add an automatic 150 points to your tally :-)

The Blog Point System is a Krom Kreation (however, the idea to give points came from Molly’s site, an excellent blog in it’s satirical genious).
I’m totally fuckin’ getting a power-bracelet.
Let me know if any of my previous posts on my blog qualify for blog points. A few of my personal favorites:
Film Noir SML
Blogaholics Anonymous
This One’s for You, Tony!
A Horrifying Memory
And no, this is not me trying to shamelessly promote my blog! How dare you insinuate that’s what I’m doing?!
Sister Mary Lisa, how creative; you’ve introduced an additional element to the game: off-site blog points. I’ll have to consider this for introduction into the blog point system.
Currently, the blog points are only for comments and posts on our site, http://www.tellmeaboutit.wordpress.com.
However, you’ve earned 5 blog points for your creativity (and I’ll be sure to read those posts, in order to enhance your blog stats and favor with the Nerd Gods),

Your comrade in the Nerd Alliance
Krom, I’m so embarrassed. I seriously thought you were dishing points out for stuff we’d written too. I’ll need to read slower next time.
Thanks for the points. It feels almost as good as when Molly the Mormon gives me Sunbeam Points.
Sister Mary Lisa, you’ve got to be kiddin me. This is not an embarrassment; this is a simple thing (plus I may change it in the future to incorporate it anyway).
Growing up in the mormon church, serving everyday and weekend to build up the kingdom, leaving your family for two years and preaching their dogmas, marrying your woman in their temples and denying your family the chance to watch you get hitched, attending their BYU university and getting their degree, and then, after all that, after every sacrafice and after passing all the people you hurt along your way to their heaven, you then realize that it’s all wrong. Their whole way of life and system is dead, stinking, fat, stupid wrong.
That’s an embarressment.
For that, anyone may apologize. Profusely.
Oh, and I checked out Molly’s site; excellent stuff (and in the spirit of complete and utter open transparency, I did get the idea of the Blog Points System after I checked out her site, so I left a hat tip for her for the Sunbeam Points at the end of my post). Does she also have a point system that keeps track of the points and gives expectional prizes, too? If so, I’ll commend her for such absolute and distinguising brilliance.
Krom left a comment on my friend Evil Bender‘s blog, and I followed him (Krom) back here. Does that mean Krom gets 150 points?
How about points for saying “Krom” the most in a comment?
Hiya, Krom! ;)
Does that mean Krom gets 150 points?
No (but quite a conundrum giving the current rules of the system). While I appreciate your question, I do not need to give myself any points (that also would be a conflict of interest, seeing how I give the points in the first place and all) You see, I want to bring the Good people into the League of Super Pals, and I can’t do it alone. That’s why I give the points for bringing you and your friends to this site. But since I’m an established Member of the League of Super Pals, I’m sitting quite comfortably with my points right now. However, other Members of the League vie for more points in order to get the ‘gear’ offered at 30,000 points.
How about points for saying “Krom” the most in a comment?
Again, clever thought, but this misses the point of the points. The League of Super Pals has been established to enjoy the Good Times (that and the cool hats). These times are the moments that pass us each day, and enjoying these moments is what our organization is bent on doing. So, the points are to encourage this enjoyment by highlighting that which makes us enjoy the moment even more than normal. Great posts, clever comments, funny tirades, it’s all there, Lizard Queen; we just have to highlight it.
5 blog points for your clever comment.
